Carrots - good stuff!Though the Big Super was fighting a cold and running a fever yesterday, you might not know it by looking at this picture. Taken after a hearty lunch of carrots, this picture could cause one to question the veracity of my claims yesterday of 100+ degree fevers. This kid amazes me every day.

How High’s the Fever, Mama?

Cooper’s running a fever again — just another cold brought home from day care. Last night, I got a frantic call from Kandis saying he was running at about 103. When I got home, he was smiling and returning to his normal happy-go-lucky state of being. Tylenol is apparently a miracle drug for infants.

Tonight, he’s at about 100 degrees, and not doing too badly. He’s taken a few naps during the course of the day, getting some much needed rest. Mom and dad are doing fine and, amazingly, have not yet shown any signs of sickness.

The Bottom of the Hamper

We’ve been lax about keeping up with laundry these days. We begin a load with the best intentions, but somehow, the load makes it to the washer where it remains for about a week. Meanwhile, the half-empty hamper begins filling up again, and the cycle repeats. Today, I am making an earnest effort to get all of our laundry done. For the first time in at least a month, I saw the bottom of the hamper this morning, so I’m encouraged. I have two loads to complete, and we typically get stuck at the folding stage of laundry duty. Wish me luck
