I am a thirty-something professional with a wife, two cats, and a dog. On April 17th, 2007, we welcomed our son into the world. I started this blog shortly after I learned we were expecting, and will continue as long as I am willing and able.

I enjoy web-based application development, playing the guitar and banjo, and playing pool. I consider myself to be a master of none of these activities, but hope to be an outstanding father.

There were several reasons that sparked the creation of this blog. Here is that list, for those that may be interested:
